People love reading in games, it really is part of what makes Resident evil 2 / Silent Hill 2 memorable. But in those games (using them as examples because they are going down as 'the greats'), you don't get assaulted with notes at the start, they're littered throughout as you explore. At the start of this game there are SO many letters, it seems like I'm spending more time reading than playing. It's a bit of a turn off....
