Small update bringing a fix:

• Fixed a visual bug when rendering the hint text in zoomed fullscreen mode

On a side note, it's now possible to adjust the volume of the music and the sound effects.
Nothing fancy in-game for now, you will have to set them manually in the configuration file:

1) Go to C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Local\Jigoku_Kisetsukan
2) Open config.ini with notepad
3) Under [settings] change (or add) the following two lines with the desired values (0: mute, 100:max/default)


4) Save and run the game

I'll probably add a configuration section in the game later next week, for now you can do it this way.

New update, here's the changelog:

• Added the Music Room to the Extra Stuff section where you can listen to the game's BGMs.
  
• Increased the initial power level of the characters in the Training section.
  
• Music now loops during long boss fights.
  
• Your steam name is entered automatically the first time you are asked to register a new high-score.
  
• V-Sync disabled by default for new users, you can also press F6 to toggle it.
  
• Added a friendly reminder of using the Focus button if you get to a "Continue screen" without using it. Don't blame the game! :)

New update which adds some small features and a fix.

• The game now remembers if you run it in windowed mode.
  
• The last name entered in the highscores table will automatically be filled the following time.
  
• Added a sound effect for when the countdown of a boss is about to reach zero.
  
• Fixed a case of overlapping text in the Controls section for the Japanese language.

Minutes after I pushed the 1.02 update live, user Aappa found a minor bug that had to be fixed, so here is a sneaky quick update.

• Fixed the first dialogue of the Wanderer during the 4th level.
