A great Metroidvania with a well written story.

Gameplay is what you'd expect. Tight controls. Interesting items. Puzzles ranging from simple to challenging. Varied enemies. Lots of exploration.

Graphics and music are well done. Wonderful art style and a great soundtrack to match the moment.

Pretty great Metroidvania, doesn't overstay its welcome, cozy pixel art, kinda reminds me of Chrono Trigger's pixel art for some reason, and great music, lookin' forward to the sequel!

Doesn't overstay it's welcome and has a lot of more castlevania in it than metroid. While the story ended up falling a bit flat for me and the side questing felt more like a way to pad a really short experience out, the game itself was fun to play from start to finish with some cool abilities and puzzling. I also felt the leveling system was a bit too much, with levels for abilities and the main character that make the process of switchings weapons later feel like a chore than something cool to try out.
