Before I played Hollow Knight i had a small nail, no charms, no spells and absolutely no soul to heal. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.

I completely understand why people love this game the way they do. The amount of content is insane, it's as long as a Dark Souls game. The charm system is awesome, you can come up with some interesting combinations which synergies with each other. The areas all look incredible coupled with the music and sound design create an immersive atmosphere which I found impressive for a 2D side-scroller.

Bosses are designed with a few moves which turns the fights into a dance of sorts, once you get the flow of the fight it becomes easier. The game is difficult but if you are persistent and keep trying you will make it to the end. If you have 30 hours to spare and are looking for a difficult but fair game, I recommend Hollow Knight.
