The Shiness universe was born over 20 years ago from the pen strokes of Samir Rebib, Artistic Director of the studio. We've put all our energy and passion into Shiness, and a child's dream has finally turned a fully-fleshed indie-RPG with a bold personality!

In Shiness, take control of Chado and his four friends as they journey across a fractured world beset by a war between multiple factions. Combat is inspired by traditional fighting games, mixing fast-paced combos, parrying, blocking, and powerful magical abilities distinct for each character.

Your party members' usefulness isn't limited to just combat - manipulate the environments around you with abilities such as Kayenne's telekinesis and Askel's far-reaching whip.

Gain experience and level up after fights, while progressing in the storyline or by accomplishing numerous side quests. Evolve your characters, learn new skills and spells, and become the hero who will unify the civilizations of Mahera.

Shiness' characters and story were first birthed over 20 years ago from the pen strokes of a young Samir Rebib, co-founder of Enigami.

Now, after a successful Kickstarter campaign and with the help of publisher Focus Home Interactive, this young team is close to releasing their first game - featuring 5 playable characters with distinct playstyles and personalities:

• Chado - This daring young Waki dreams of travelling far beyond his home town Kimpao - and this desire quickly lands him in big trouble!

• Poky - A faithful friend to Chado, Poky has an incredible talent for engineering that makes up for his lack of courage.

• Rosalya - Shy but loyal to the party, Rosalya has a powerful affinity with fire and is on the search for a mysterious truth.

• Askel - A formidable young mercenary, the enigmatic Askel already has a far-reaching reputation in Mahera.

• Kayenne - A strong, natural born leader, Kayenne remains calm in even the most difficult situations.

Directly control your party members in hyper-dynamic combat - each character has powerful magical abilities and their own devastating Hyper Combos!

Though battles are 1v1 in classic fighting game tradition, party members can cast spells from the sidelines and be swapped out through the tag team system.

Outside battle, the open, puzzle-filled environments give party members plenty of opportunities to shine. From Kayenne's telekinetic talents to Rosalya's use of fire to reveal hidden entrances, use potent abilities to overcome any obstacle that stands in your way.

Today's video invites you to the magic world of Shiness! Explore the world, and use your characters' special powers – Kayenne's telekinesis, Poky's electromagnetic fields manipulation, and more – to progress in your adventure and find precious parchments, which are key to devastating spells and powerful combat techniques.

Throughout your quest, take part in hyper-dynamic combat inspired by traditional fighting games, combining combos, special moves, magic, elemental affinities and devastating "finish moves". As you complete quests and battles, you will gain experience and levels, develop your characters and recruit new playable companions on your team.

Walk deep inside the corrupted forest of Meonis, a land originally inhabited by Meonians. This old civilization once lived in harmony with the nature, but fled to Mantara City in order to escape the Curse of Adorn.

Meonis forest is now infested by evil creatures from the obscure Shi, and home to the palace of the dead King Meos, a dark place where only the bravest of heroes would dare visit.

Further in the North, at the Peak of Shiyawo Mountains, Chado observes the Hall of Giants - the only gate for exiled people to access the lands of Adorya.
