Could there be a workshop option, so people could mod the game ?

I'm into the HON boardgame (supported the Cthulhu and Eastern Front Kickstarters) and I come back to the PC game from time to time just for fun. The adaptation is awesome and the AI is acceptable. I really wish at some point this game is revived with more content. There are probably some rules to be created if you sum up all the existing modules, sure... but I'm pretty sure that creating new campaigns and incorporating units with no additional rules is something that can be done with not much effort.
