music is bad and the obstacles don't match up with the music at all. Just feels like a thousand nothing obstacle courses. The visuals are cool for a little bit but get old after 30 minutes of staring at abstract geometrical shapes moving around with a bunch of flashing colors and lights

Not so much a rhythm game as it is a test of your reaction time to visual stimuli across very repetitive stages. Doesn't feel good to play since my actions are often not synced well to the backing track.

Thumper is an amazing game. I purchased to try it out, and now I'm trying to S Rank level 9+.... The first levels are slow, but give the game some time and you may enjoy it as well.
