This game doesn't work. Tried it on several systems, both Win 7 (64), tried running it with in various compatibility modes. Just keeps crashing at startup. Anyone have any ideas?

I normally have no problems with malware on my computer because I am very careful with my browsing and downloading. However, recently I have been constantly hearing the tune of viruses being detected by Avast in the "qbqbqb" and "Project Freedom" folders inside the "steam/commonapps" directory. Can anyone tell me the validity of these findings? I can't play the games because files are being blocked, and my faith in Steam is starting to falter since this has been going on a for almost a month......

I cannot write review as I own the physical disc and not steam copy but I just replayed it after years and this time I muted the game music and played some epic score instead great experience, this is a BUDGET GAME but it is very solid and what I love the most, very easy and simple to play you can easily finish it in 1 day but that is why the price is very accurate if you want a space shooter but you are afraid of complicated controls, then this is a game for you...
