Today we are eager to finally announce that Penumbra: Prisoner of Fate Chapter I will be released in 25th August 2023 on Steam Workshop and Moddb and requires a copy of SOMA to play.

Captured and trapped in the Archaic Shelter by infected Tuurngait, you must find a way out and return to the place you call home. Try to piece your mind back together and survive the terrors lurking in the darkness.

It is a prequel to the first part of the original trilogy, and it tells the story of the insane miner Tom Redwood. This version is being developed on the HPL3 engine.

Penumbra: Prisoner of Fate - the prequel to the first part of the Penumbra series, revealing the fate of the mad miner Tom "Red" Redwood. The full version of the modification is developed on the HPL3 (SOMA) engine.

«Twilight of the Archaic» is a small add-on for Penumbra: Necrologue. This addition will be the final chapter in the story and will provide answers to the majority of questions that many people had after passing the main game. A lot of fresh and exciting ideas went into developing this new mod. You can expect some new features that will not only pleasantly surprise you, but will also make the gameplay much more diverse!
