Apologies to the incredible slowness in rolling out content updates. I've knuckled down and made a few changes to start with, and have some new rooms planned.

In this update we have:

- Volumetric Light has now been added to the main player's torch
- A new rare Desert Eagle has been added to the game - it's very powerful, but also very loud and ammo is scarce!
- New charging animations have been added for the pipe and the wood plank

We’ve finally got the overhauled build ready! :PhantasmalSeeker:

Apologies for the time it took to get sorted. A lot of fundamental changes were necessary to replace the deprecated UI we had, and upgrade to a much newer Unity version.

The new UI should be a lot cleaner than the old one. :PhantasmalEye:

We’ve also changed the fundamental structure of the level generation now, so hopefully this will address most of the memory issues that some users were having.

Just note that with the new UI, we will have some teething issues. There are currently a couple of issues including the key mapping, which currently doesn’t take effect until the game is restarted. We’ll truck on and iron these out.

We’ll also be looking at making those new room variants next!

We’ve been hard at work on the Unity Engine upgrade, so I thought I’d sneak in a few bug fixes as well as the Supporters’ room in the meantime. This room is a huge thank you to our top players including some super star twitch streamers and youtubers.

Apologies that we've been a bit slow with some of the bug fixes: we also have a conference in Singapore called Casual Connect Asia next week so we’ve been conscious about not breaking the game too! :PhantasmalSkull:

• Fixed Dr Room so that junkies can’t phase through the doors (they open now when they go through)
  
• Reduced player collider size
  
• Added Supporters’ room
  
• Reduced view bobbing by more than half to reduce nausea issues for some players
  
• Removed storeroom planks that couldn’t be picked up
  
• Fixed creature population for later levels

Hi Guys,
As per the title we’ve pushed through a hotfix to help with an issue that is affecting some users.

We’ve done a temporary work-around for gamma and brightness, so you may need to recalibrate when you start the game again. Remember you can always start the game after that and manually configure the gamma/brightness in the in-game menu (Esc->Options->Configure).

You now have the ability to type in your gamma/brightness settings textboxes to fine tune the values.

This change should hopefully solve the dark screen problem with new players. Note that although the current implementation isn’t ideal, we have a full UI overhaul planned in the next couple of weeks which will address most of these residual issues.

We’ve included in this patch the inclusion of higher resolutions. Unfortunately we don’t have access to 4K monitors, so please check this out if you do. Let us know if this doesn’t work correctly for you.
