What if Resident Evil but your boyfriend from jail comes with?

Despite some mixed things such as no item box, the game is still fun to play and is the last Resident Evil game with this pre-rendered background and unique graphics. For a sale price, it's worth picking up.

Remaster of the original 2002 release. Play as rookie cop member Rebecca Chambers and ex-Navy lieutenant Billy Coen to investigate the events before RE1 Mansion.
Selected Easy difficulty.

+ Map is Your best friend, includes colourful doors and abandoned items
+ Switching characters to progress, You work as a team
+ Very limited inventory space, needs some management

- Strange menu selections, like Quit is by selecting Inventory - Change Options
- Sometimes is hard to get the right angle to pick an item

The controls might take a minute to get used to, but the game is a pretty solid old-school gem.

It’s a great gem , I love everything about it especially the fact that this game is basically a pre-telling of the main story of all the ish happened in the hills , but unfortunately for me as steam deck player it’s a bit difficult experience.

The graphics seems to have glitches as long as on the train you’ll see the red / green graphic stripes in the passengers area which is quite annoying but it doesn’t influence the gaming process too much .


All in all I’d definitely recommend this game to everyone who at least likes the RE series , but if you’re too sensitive when it comes to graphical failures or something like this I might rethink the purchase if I was you

Not gonna lie i usually love resident evil but this game didn't do it for me. I was glad once it was over and not in a good way xd. Theres just something off with Zero. I think its a lot of small things that become more and more annoying and some parts had me in disbelief. The first game had a perfectly fine storage system... they removed it for some reason. Enemies where extremly agressive and some spaces where even smaller meaning you get hit very fast + on normal there are very few health items compared to other titles so its more punishing. There are times where i loaded the game even if i survived an encounter because i knew i took to much damage and wouldn't survive anyway. Also the leech enemy in this game was a mistake... a big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mistake. Worst enemy in the series if you don't just run or have fire bombs. The thing is i acually like rebecca and billy and i do thing the game could have been a lot better, they just kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. Its sad too because it does have some cool ideas and set pieces like the train, and that wesker mode looks interesting (might need to play that later). I played it for the sake of completing it and knowing how good or bad it is, but if you don't have autism and don't want to play as many games of a series like me then maybe just skip this one.

Not worth the time and effort. If you care about the story, just watch a youtube playthrough. Haven't played the RE1 remake yet, but if it plays just like this game, I'll skip it.

Fun to play. Good times to relive some childhood memories. I will say, Resident Evil is a great franchise as a whole. This prequel adds much to the story and expands the lore. Plus, Rebecca. Need I say more?
