I finished the story mode without experiencing any problems but at the moment I started running it on Arcade mode I had a few gamebreaking issues. For example on the very first stage (Not stage 0), when you have to climb a rope and fight the first Skeleton/boss (which is supposed to be asleep) he was already awake and waiting for me on top of the rope. Since I was playing on Manly difficulty it one shoted me once I touched him/climbed. Second problem I had, after the Giant boss on a bridge (Cathedral ?). ...

It reminds me of the good old Castlevania and Splatter House era.

It may be silly but I can't seem to get the dpad to work in this game. Is it possible?

Battle Princess Madelyn, done up in Ghosts 'n Goblins style though hopefully a bit easier or at least options for an easier go heh. Looks really good, d.l ing it now.
