Is this what typical eroge are like? because I am over an hour in and so far I have just been reading a visual novel. Are there any actual gameplay elements or choices? If not this is a waste of $40 and I'll probably just refund it.

I get that this game is likely a nukige, so I'm not looking for a deep, intricately woven story that could stand on it's own in the absence of the adult content, but I would like to know if the protagonist actually is a half-way decent person with a real brain in his head, or if he is just another ambulatory d*ck, like in so many other nukige protagonists....

Is there or will there be an non steam patch?
