You may have received the news during the Future Game Show Spring 2025: we're coming to Early Access on May 22nd! More information will be communicated soon, if you have questions about our Early Access, feel free to ask them in the comment of this Steam News and we will respond to it in an upcoming FAQ news!

We're part of the Steam City Builder & Colony Sim Fest with our free demo!

• Performance issues: Stuttering, lag, loading time, temp spike & crashes: We are aware of stuttering or high GPU/CPU usage even with high end PC. We are currently working on improving this. However, this will take some time and will be more likely implemented later, as we improve both the game and performances.
  
• Wide screen UI issuesUltrawide and wide resolution UI issue: We are aware that the UI will not scale properly on widescreen and ultra widescreen. We are working on updating the UI and fixing those issues but some might be tied to bigger changes that will come closer to Early Access and won’t be in the demo.

We loved all the amazing cities you already shared with us and we thought we could celebrate the Steam City Builder & Colony Sim Fest and reward your creativity at the same time through a contest!

The contest goal is simple: create your dream city with the City Tales - Medieval Era free demo on Steam and share a screenshot of your city with us!

What are the rules?

• The contest is hosted on X, Bluesky (don't forget to add #CityTales to your post so we can take it into account) and Discord with the tag Contest to add to your screenshot in our new forum channel for screenshots!
  
• On April 3rd, we will announce two winners who will receive as a prize a Steam key for the game when the Early Access starts (on May 22nd)!
  
• Be creative with your city, you can even name them, find them a lore or just stick to aesthetic criterias if you prefer!

We can't wait to see all the wonderful tales each stone of your cities will tell.
