In a ♥♥♥♥ move, I betrayed Huns and bumrushed 3 sickly hordes in 410 Are they hopefully gone forever?

Typically the payments and upkeep, as its nearly doubles all my levis armiturae.

A quick betrayal in Crimea when I tricked Attila into fighting Sclavenians while I isolated and slaughtered two hordes yielded fruits, but now they are coming seeing red with a capital R. My trial combat got my max armor upgraded Armenian Spears reduced to pincushions even in box formation as I watched in horror. Persian horse archers are sadly the early edition since I couldn't research fast enough to keep my empire in order with civ upgrades to bring level 2 ones. Sassanid medium horse archer mercs sort...

There's at least a couple mods that supposedly give "all Roman units" both testudo formations but seem to gloss over the Roman marines. This is a little disappointing because those formations could come in handy for when I disembark my marines to fight on land but are then left completely exposed because apparently they weren't drilled in basic Roman tactical formations. Does anyone know of a mod that adds the testudo formations to Roman marines? Is that even possible or it a limitation in the game?...
