This game makes me wonder what could happen if FWH had a triple A budget. With a semi-indie budget they managed to create one of the most enjoyable looter shooters I have played to date.
Ending song is bomb too.

I am a 55 year old biker and trucker father, and probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my son many happy memories.

Kamiko is so f__king annoying. Insolent know-it-all m0ngrel. You have to deal with her PMS the whole f__king game, then at the end when her life is on the line, all of a sudden we’re best friends now???

Speaking of ending, what the f__k kind of bulls__t is that? Seal the gates open? How does that even make the slightest sense? Kamiko had 1 job, which is to f__king die and finally shut the f__k up, but no, the devs just got to make Lo Wang a simp so that this pathetic excuse of an ending can happen for the sequel.

art style and setting is dope af

$3 gets you a buggy, graphically-dated, narratively-derivative but violently fun, fast-paced little gem bursting with weapon choices & upgrades.

Shadow Warrior 2 is an enjoyable looter shooter that will keep you entertained for a long time. Overall, the gameplay was solid and thrilling. The story was quite good, but it contained a bit too many fetch quests for my taste. This was definitely an upgrade over the first Shadow Warrior (2013).

Some downsides:
-The number of loots gained from dead enemies was by far too many.
-The voice acting for some of the characters was absolutely terrible.
-The difficulty of the game was rather imbalanced. At first, the difficulty ramped up too fast: Before I was able to get a few critical upgrades for my character, some levels were a real struggle. But right after the sluggish start when I got some proper upgrades for my character, the rest of the game was far too easy.

As a sidenote, I didn't test playing the game with friends, but I can imagine that multiplayer is a lot more fun than playing alone (which was fun, too).
