I am not able to switch to special edition. Only classic works. Is there a solution for this problem?

I bought and downloaded this and played it a few days ago for an hour, enjoyed it so far. Today, steam updated and I tried to play it again but each time I click on Play, something flashes on the screen then nothing - the game doesn't launch. Any ideas?

Will there ever be a linux port? It's almost in on every platform and I think Linux would be a nice addition ;)

The only game i have encounter that refuses to open. Any advice that isnt factory reset?
