We are happy to unveil that the world of Frostpunk is being expanded with two more books along with Official Merch and the Side Quest: Frostpunk Board&Dice set.

The World of Frostpunk Artbook and Anthology

We are pleased to unveil two handcrafted collector books that expand the Frostpunk universe and are coming to Kickstarter later this year. The first is a series of novellas set in Frostpunk's apocalyptic world, and the second is a uniquely crafted artbook.

The artbook "Aesthetics of Desolation: Design and Art of Frostpunk", featured in the same Kickstarter, is carefully curated by Frostpunk’s game directors. It features never-seen-before art, and never-before-told insights about the design process that guided the creation of world in Frostpunk and Frostpunk 2.

Frostpunk is now 6 years old ❄

Today our beloved Frostpunk is celebrating its 6th anniversary. That means that the game's now old enough to cover its first emergency shift in the coal mine.

Here are 6 facts highlighting those 6 years:

Around 3% of the players have over 100 hours on their record.
On average, people play the game for 24 hours.
More than half managed to save every person in Frostland playing The New Home scenario.
The most popular track from the Frostpunk OST is "The City Must Survive". It's been played over 6.4 million times on Spotify and over 1.3 million times on YouTube.
The rarest achievement, unlocked by only 0.6% of Steam players is "Endless slave driver". It's unlocked when you make all other settlements distrustful towards you in Endless Mode.
Over 5 million copies of Frostpunk across all platforms have been sold so far.

Very soon you'll be able to play Frostpunk 2. So far the game has gathered over 2 million wishlists and we couldn't be more proud and grateful for all this support.

Frostpunk 2 Beta featuring a part of sandbox mode called the Utopia Builder Preview is live now until April 22!

Delve deeper into the game with a new developer commentary video, where Frostpunk 2's co-directors provide valuable insights into the game's major changes and an extended gameplay preview.

While Frostpunk 2 is significantly larger in scale than the original game in every aspect, this Preview offers a glimpse of approximately 40 percent of the full experience awaiting players upon the game's release on July 25, 2024. Anticipate additional factions, expansive maps and colonies, increased exploration, dramatic occurrences, and a robust narrative campaign mode.

Frostpunk 2 will launch on PC in the first half of 2024 and will be available day one with PC Game Pass and later with Xbox Game Pass upon release on Xbox Series X|S. The game is also coming to PlayStation 5.
