Will steam give me free money?

I finished some races (not sure how many, about 10 maybe?) then I hit a screen that just says 'Tournament' and nothing else happens. Whenever I try to start the game now and go into Tour, I see this screen and the game does nothing else. Completely broken. Anyone seen this? Got any kind of fix for it? The log file says repeatedly..
