I won't try to deny the other reviews. The worst part of this game is the constant popups many of which want you to spend money. This game already existed as both a mobile game and a browser game before steam so the UI is very much tailored to that audience. The popups aren't all bad though because any time you unlock something or complete a quest or get any random reward you will likely get a popup allowing you to claim it without stopping what you are doing or having to navigate through a bunch of menus to find them. And that leads me to what i believe is the best part of this game which is the sheer quantity of free rewards. The game will shower you with millions of free chips from log in rewards to (very) easy daily and seasonal quests as well as a bunch of minigames that can cost real money but will generate a free play every few hours to once a day depending on which. When you first open the game you will likely have a few million chips just from clicking though all the exclamation points before you even play your first hand. For scale cheapest table has 5k/10k blinds with a 50k minimum buy in. If all you want is to play some casual poker, you can afford to all in and lose to your hearts content and still make more from free rewards than you can manage to lose. After 3 hours on a fresh account i have 20 mil chips saved up and i lose all ins worth 1 mil + all the time. I guess if your goal is to play at the highest of high stakes tables then pay to win and real gambling addiction could be a problem, but if you just want to play for fun and don't mind sticking to cheaper stakes there's really no need to ever spend real money if you don't want to. All in all despite the truth in the negative reviews I don't think the game deserves a mostly negative rating, and i would recommend it to anyone who is confident they can have fun playing poker with random people and a fountain of fake online play money without somehow developing a gambling addiction from all the real money popups.
