Here's the 2nd post-launch patch for Schedule I. I've addressed a number of bugs in this update. You can check out the full list below.

Bug fixes

• Fixed chemists not being able to use the Mixing Station Mk2.
  
• Items are no longer picked up when aiming at them with a gun.
  
• Fixed pots sometimes not being filled by the soil pourer.
  
• Fixed an Uncle Nelson phone call which incorrectly stated that the Chinese restaurant room costs $500.
  
• Fixed stations/pots not being unassigned from employees when picked up.
  
• Fixed botanists getting stuck trying to pick up an item that has been removed from their supplies.
  
• Fixed 'Zombifying' effects not clearing properly.
  
• Fixed player appearance reverting after getting a haircut or tattoo.
  
• Fixed NPCs walking through some vehicles.
  
• Fixed UI getting bugged out by other players using a management clipboard.
  
• Fixed non-host players exiting to the menu when having their vehicle searched at a checkpoint.
  
• The player should now be searched by the closest officer at a checkpoint.
  
• Fixed an employee configuration error that I believe was causing black screens when sleeping.
  
• Fixed employees not uninitializing themselves, causing a number of other bugs.
  
• Fixed a bug causing chemists to make mixing stations unusable.
  
• Fixed chemist animation not looping properly.

Apologies to anyone who has experienced any bugs - I'm going to continue releasing daily post-launch patches until all major issues are taken care of. Thank you for your patience :)

This is a small patch to address the debt problem (-2 billion dollars bug). I'm still working on finding the root cause of this issue, but this patch should at least prevent massive amounts of debt from piling up. It should also clear any existing debt. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Hey everyone,

The wait is finally over! Schedule I is now available on Steam!

Thank you to everyone for showing interest in the game. Schedule I is a solo project I started over three years ago, and I never imagined the response would be this massive. It's truly rewarding to see so many people playing and enjoying the game.

I'm really proud of Schedule I already, but I promise that there's a whole lot more coming. You can expect significant monthly updates for the next few years. You can view the roadmap here[trello.com]. I'll run monthly polls to see what the player base would like to see next. Stay tuned!

Hey everyone,

I'm very excited to announce the release date and price of Schedule I! The game will be released to early access on the 24th of March and will be priced at $20 USD.

I'm also happy to say Schedule I: Free Sample will be participating in the February 2025 Steam Next Fest.

It's been awesome seeing so many people enjoying the demo - thank you all for playing and for all the support! I'm really looking forward to the 24th of March and I'm confident that you'll be thrilled with the full game.

Hello everyone,

This update adds a brand new afternoon ambient music track, courtesy of my friend KAESUL[www.instagram.com], who has also composed the rest of the Schedule I OST. You can check out KAESUL on Instagram[www.instagram.com], YouTube, and TikTok.[www.tiktok.com]
I've added an interior to the clothing store (though keep in mind clothes can only be bought in the full game) and added more detail to Taco Ticklers.

I've also made a number of improvements that should hopefully get you a few extra frames and minimize memory usage.

Additions

• Added a new afternoon ambient music track.

• Added some signage to the pharmacy.
  
• Added more interior decoration to Taco Ticklers.

Tweaks/Improvements

• Rank-ups now happen after the daily summary when you sleep, rather than during gameplay.

• Simplified the 'view friend of unlocked customer' part of the 'On the Grind' quest.

Hey everyone!

This update introduces the Mixing Station MK II. This upgraded version of the mixing station features an auto-insertion feature, faster mixing, and an increased mix limit of 20 items at once. I've also fixed a number of bugs and made some optimizations.

Additions

• Added Mixing Station MK II.
  
• Added a relationship indicator to the messages app.

Tweaks/Improvements

• Increased the stack limit of all ingredients to 20.
  
• The player is now harder for NPCs to see when inside a dumpster.
  
• Improved the 3rd hold trash grabber pose.
  
• Increased vehicle kinematic mode optimization threshold distance to 40m.
  
• Metal doors now have a different knock sound.
  
• NPC avatar textures are now combined in the editor, decreasing memory usage and giving a slight performance boost.
  
• An automatic game data and metadata restoration feature was added to keep saves playable even if those files are lost or corrupted.

Bug fixes

• Fixed NPCs ragdolling for no reason.
  
• Fixed customers accepting deal offers immediately after a rejection.
  
• Fixed customers keeping product even after rejecting an offer.
  
• Fixed unconscious NPCs opening doors.
  
• Fixed alignment of cash slot highlight.
  
• Fixed cash slots exceeding $1000.
  
• Fixed hole in demo barrier.

This will be the last significant content addition to the demo, although I will continue adding QoL improvements, bug fixes, and minor features. Next week will bring a new ambient music track.

Hey all,

This week brings 4 new effects - paranoia, sneaky, disorienting, and spicy. I've also reworked the mixing algorithm so that it's a bit more logical and easier to configure and expand upon on my end. A new ingredient has also been added. I've also implemented several improvements to the existing effects.

The existing mixing system worked using a bunch of arbitrary numbers, and adding them together to determine if an existing effect can transform into a new effect. It was too random, overcomplicated and didn't feel like it followed any logical rules.

I've designed the new system to allow me to easily define which effects are similar to other effects (e.g. energizing is similar to athletic, balding to gingeritis, etc) so that mixing operations are a bit more logical. It's still mostly trial and error but should be a bit more predictable.

No - the new system is set up to preserve any mix recipes you've already created.

Additions

• Added paranoia, sneaky, disorienting, and spicy effects.
  
• Added camera bob settings.
  
• Added barbershop and tattoo parlour interiors.
  
• Added overalls to the character creator.

Tweaks/Improvements

• Improved a number of existing effects.
  
• Rewrote the mixing algorithm for more consistency, logic, and extensibility.
  
• Changed the appearance of Anna and Peggy to make them a bit more visually distinct.
  
• Changed the offline networking transport.
  
• Product names are now generated deterministically, meaning everyone should get the same suggested name for the same combination of ingredients.
  
• Improved ingredient detection in mixing station bowl.
  
• The demo boundaries are now one-way, so if you somehow find yourself outside of the demo playable area, you won't be stuck there.
  
• You can no longer offer a deal to a customer while they're already waiting for a deal to be completed.

• Fixed impact sounds sometimes not playing.
  
• Fixed vehicles sometimes glitching into the ground.
  
• Fixed 'view on map' being inconsistent with 'show on map'.

Hi everyone,

This week I'm adding a new upgraded packaging station. It can be purchased for $750 from Dan's Hardware after you've reached Hoodlum V. It features a rotating conveyor belt that is used to position the packaging under a nozzle. The product is then dropped into the packaging, and the packaging is automatically sealed.

• Added 'view on map' button to NPCs in the contacts app.
  
• Added a body search fail sound.

Tweaks/Improvements

• Improved the 'give out a free sample' quest with some extra steps for clarity.

• Fixed players being able to both use the same station/pot/tap if they both interact at the exact same time.
  
• Fixed being able to both talk to an NPC if they both interact at the exact same time.
