About what you would expect.

For an idle game it's fairly simple, you take down walls, you get new things to use to take down future walls. I'm a little over halfway at the moment myself.

One thing I really like about the game is you can choose at any time to reset your various skills and reassign them as you please. It does take away all minions you currently have out and starts you back to the beginning of a wall, so I suggest doing it when you get stuck, or before you get too far in to beating a wall. Unless of course you have bonuses for damage that are helpful, in which case you could reset them right before you take down a wall, but you might as well beat it first.

I do appreciate that they change up what you are dealing with as well, so it's not as static as it could have been otherwise. I also love all the little side quests that pop up, they have a lot of fun little quips and you get more items to use along your journey. Some better than others.

There are a lot of options as you level up for combining different skills and changing up your minions to make things easier for you. They also have a lot of nice implementations to avoid anything becoming too overpowered to avoid dragging the game play into boring territory.

The side quests pop up over time, and don't usually take too long, you will need to make sure you have enough Mana for your choices but that shouldn't be too hard. The interactions between yourself and Bonsely are quite amusing, and you have a lot of fun little choices along the way. It's clear they had fun making the quests and the continuing story line that goes with your adventure.

That all being said, the game is a bit of a time sink. And if you think you can just leave it running and have a free ride you may want to reconsider. They change things up on you and make sure the game can't just be ignored. So be ready to change things up as needed.

incredibly fun game

I mean it's cute but 5 hours of gameplay? It's hard to justify its cost when I beat it in a single sitting.

Not terrible, not great. Decent, ish, but a bit too fiddly for my liking.

cool puzzle+patience game

I finished (the) Gnorp Apologue and wanted something with a similar vibe, this game gives me that vibe but with a reverse space invader feel, so join the journey to Incrementalia as we smash those walls!!

Fun and succinct game. Side quests had lots of good jokes. Plenty of diversity in what you can do for much of the game. Broad archetypes are fairly clear, if you get stuck or things look grindy, switch to another! I got to 92 with fireballs but found the damage to be wayyyy lacking. There are some nuts combos, keep trying them out.

Fun but pretty short, I completed the game in a little under 4 hours though that number could go up or down based on how good your builds are. Could really use some kind of NG+ to add some replayability, though for the price it's hard to complain too much.
