im genuinely obsessed with this game. having to wait for more content has gotta be cruel and unusual punishment but its so worth it

even if it isnt your taste, i urge you to at least try the first episode. its free and relatively short, and you def wont regret it

Looks so good but wall of text made me quit. I wish it came more in drops instead of all at once.

I randomly stumbled on this game's chapter 1 and decided to give it a try. And that was such a great idea because the game is really fun! These kinds of card battle games aren't really my thing, but I enjoyed the combat. It wasn't too difficult and was just challenging enough for me to come up with a different strategy each time.

The characters are really cool, and I did like learning more about the world the game takes place in. It's got a really cool sense of morbid humor that is similar to other games I liked, like OFF. The artstyle is also really good, I think the environment art is simple, but the character sprites aren't and you can tell a lot of work went into making them.

There's still a lot of things unfinished about the game namely some lore is missing from certain items, and I do feel like there could be more variation between the cards you get and the faces you collect. (But I haven't played the second chapter so who knows maybe my complaints are fixed there.)

All in all, I think it's a really good, short indie game that has a great mix of horror and comedy. If I had to pick a favorite character, it would definitely be Constant <3 I love that little cyborg electro-shock loving freak.
