Strange Brigade had a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it doesn’t quite deliver. As a fan of co-op shooters, I was hoping for an engaging, fun experience with an interesting setting, but the game ended up feeling more like a repetitive, lackluster grind than an exciting adventure.

The setting, which is a fun concept, a group of adventurers fighting through ancient ruins filled with supernatural creatures could have been a fantastic backdrop. However, the environment feels uninspired, and the level design quickly becomes repetitive.

The combat, while not terrible, is clunky and feels outdated. The weapons are satisfying at first, but the lack of variety and limited customization options leave little to explore. Enemies feel more like bullet sponges rather than compelling threats. Even the puzzle-solving elements are basic and don’t offer much in terms of challenge or reward.

The story, which could have added some depth to the gameplay, is pretty shallow and fails to captivate. The characters feel one-dimensional, and the dialogue doesn’t do much to help create any emotional investment.

Overall, Strange Brigade offers little more than surface-level fun, and even that doesn’t last long. It’s a game that had potential but doesn’t fully take advantage of it.
