Slow and boring.
Not remotely realistic.
Wouldn't recommend for anyone that likes a turn based game.

This is my military go to game, by far the most enjoyable. So many good DLC also, various theatres which makes it a well thought out game. Would love a Vietnam game in the future.

Not too difficult for casual gamers, but with enough options for serious strategy fans. Very interesting if you know the history behind the conflicts.

If you love strategy games this is it. I have probably played the Pacific Campaign more than a couple of times. Erik's Campaign mods are great too. I wish there were some Post WWII campaigns all the way up to modern times (hint hint). That's for you creative minds out there.
