amazing stealth game

my snake gets solid everytime i play this, this is peak KOJIMA!!

Best prologue I've ever played.

Review is after completing the main campaign, but none of the side-ops.

• Strong stealth gameplay.
  
• Enemies behave very impressively, searching randomly, flashlights, investigating the area last seen.
  
• Fast sprinting movement even when carrying other people.
  
• No stamina bar or panting. Very very useful.
  
• Very impressive graphics quality, especially rain and wind effects.
  
• I am hereby familiar with and ready for phantom pain.
  
• I accidentally fired a rocket at Kojima san as he was driving a jeep to the extraction point.
  
• CP this is LT, the entire base is deserted! Can clear out the entire base using stealth.

• 40 dollars for this demo is criminal.
  
• Clunky cover system. Janky cover controls, a snap to cover mechanic would have been useful.
  
• Clumsy prone system, I accidentally kept moving to crouch mode again. Unreliable in tense situations.
  
• Why can't I chuck unconscious enemies into the deep blue sea?
  
• Why can't Snake carry spare silencers?
  
• Why can't I hide bodies in large containers?
  
• Terrible checkpoint save system.
  
• The year is 2014 and Japan still hasn’t figured out how to implement a quicksave system.
  
• Why can’t I throw rocks to distract enemies?
  
• The side ops missions were ridiculous. Stealth in broad daylight with ridiculous fail conditions.
  
• Ammo stashes were underwhelming. I had three weapons and most of the boxes said ammo mismatch.
  
• Extraction was not explained well. I requested to extract in a hot zone as a first time player. Pilot states it's dangerous; therefore, I stealthed away. Minutes later the damn helicopter landed in the hot zone destroying all my stealth activities up to that point.
  
• Cassette tape content was weird. Torture porn?
  
• The final cutscene medical stuff was weird and morbid.
  
• Ook ook, where metal gear?
  
• Does the backstory section spoil every other game? I was scared to even read it, especially now that there are PC remakes for MGS games. Please tell us beforehand how much of the series is spoiled.
  
• Story made little sense as a first time player.
  
• Tranquilizer darts must be headshotted. Else, need to waste about 3 of them.
  
• Night vision goggles were quite useless.
  
• Shooting the lights consumes the suppressor, which removes the silent weapon, thus making the game more difficult.
  
• Anoo sumimasen, Metaru Giya wa dokodesu ka?!?

• A guide is a must as randomly exploring the map can force you into the main mission cutscenes. Many events are set in motion and further exploration becomes impossible.

This is the first level of the actual MGSV for $20. You should not buy it. This should be free or pirated. It's an abandonware advertisement that Konami used to crowdfund MGSV. I'm fairly certain you aren't a charity, and Konami's business is not your problem. This game took me 5 minutes to complete the main story. It's a complete fraud. And I was taking my sweet ass time. I'm not joking, I beat this game in 5 minutes on my first try.

I have about 24 hours on record because I was going to 100% the game, but I decided against it because it's just exactly one base like 7 times. And Halo and Destiny get flack for recycling their maps, meanwhile everyone just overlooks an entire game that's an actual recycling bin. Then they go on to bully and bombard Survive for being a zombie game, when they just played MGSV, which is full of zombies. How odd to see so many people selectively forget that. In other words, blatant double standards.

There are 4 things I liked compared to MGSV, that being the iDroid looking and running much better, and I had more call out options. Plus the graphics and guns felt a lot better, likely because they don't have a tacked on online suite to balance around and run in the background. The ranking system was more in line with older games where they punish you for killing people and being slow, but I think that's only done to pad game time unlike older games where they actually used to use it to encourage stealthy gameplay. Meanwhile MGSV just lets you kill just about everyone without issue. I think I prefer that. These guns aren't just for show, lol.

For $20 you can buy MGSV which is a game that took me about 5 months to beat the main story of. It's one of the best army games I've played in a while, and is a fantastic example of what sandbox games where you "make your own fun" should be. Very open, almost like GTA3 in the Cold War where you played as a sneaky man with a big red hand and a nice dog.

Don't buy this adware. I cannot recommend.

I mean, the gameplay is good.
The recordings of sexual assault? Not so much.
