For the animation its incredible but for the length and gear variety it really is not.
I think effort was wasted on things like a fishing minigame instead of level design or boss gameplay.
The bosses also really do not work in coop or generally the game is not that fun in co-op because enemies follow very rudimentary aggro rules. The game does not even have the AI recognize wheter a player is dead for co-op meaning you can use a friends corpse to cheese any fight in the entire game and this does happen on accident.

The final fight is really dissapointing. Just before it you get a decent Phys Mitigation shield with 0 Magic Mitigation so of course the boss does nothing but cast spells. Then the attacks tend to keep you away while the boss casts shields and has way too high resist dragging the fight out forever even if you never get hit. And finally for hitting an honestly too human looking moth-girl a couple hundred times you just get told the fight is not over but the game ends. So the story is also very dissapointing.

The price is fair for it but advertising "Jolly co-op" would imply the devs played Dark Souls in co-op and know the common pitfalls it has there but it does not feel like that at all. Only way its made harder for co-op is the loss of a ring slot if you friendly fire each other too much. You can't use the same chest as someone else does even though they are client side anyway. Etc.

For singleplayer it also didn't consider some things that do not work at the scale this game works compared to what its imitating. Dark Souls/Kings Field games tend to take long enough that its worthwhile to spend time getting gear from drops but in this game it is barely enough to motivate you to kill enemies instead of ignoring them. There is no currency to gain and no stats to level so pretty quickly it became a game of ignoring enemies for me. You can beat the game in 3 to 5 Hours, no point in getting cool gear for style or because you enjoy a style of combat by grinding.

The limb combat is really cool but there is a big conflict between weapon type and damage preventing you from getting control over it. And even if you do hit what you want with a bow it won't kill the enemy. The damage from having lost a head frequently does not kill and it does not blind the enemy or confuse them. Enemies without arms don't take longer to attack (by bashing their head against you) and no enemy boss or otherwise seems to have some way to regain limbs with magic which would have been a unique challenge to fight. It does not align at all with the store description. Either in SP or MP. I think the most unique animation related to limbs were the wasps pulling out more swords after losing the one that was in their hand that got chopped off, which again just makes it so it didnt matter too much.
Its a problem on bosses as well since they don't use this system anyway. So you just go by damage type. But to get better your only option is to faceplant the boss instead of fighting normal enemies because there variety matters more.

Beyond any of that the price is pretty fair at 6 bucks.

Was not a fan, super short, easy final boss, not having XP for killing enemies makes killing enemies a chore, nice weapon variety but they definitely need a weapon comparison window or something
