Sleeping Dogs is such a masterpiece. This game could be written off as a GTA copy but I really rate it more than that. Based in Hong Kong, you are an undercover cop and gangster trying to do good in the city. It really gave me a sense of Hong Kong, from the bustling street market to the sketchy narrow alleyways. The best thing about Sleeping Dogs is its story, from start to finish I was so immersed in it. The controls are so clean and it really felt like a treat to play this game. There are so many things you can do in this game so every job really felt refreshing. There are challenges and collectibles to hunt for as well, they are relatively simple and add a fresh spice to the game. I am so sad that there will not be a Sleeping Dogs 2, really. Definitely recommended with all my heart, this might just be my favourite game of all time.

It is like GTA w/ Yakuza vibes but, set in Hong Kong and features Triad gang wars, battles for control of ketamine trafficking, undercover cops, and a very fun combat system (gun play is not that great but, this game is more for the hand combat than gun combat.)
