● Updated some system effect images in the "Tutorial" for more accurate descriptions.
● Optimized the layout of the "Investigation Data" interface, now defaulting to preview the bottom "Relic" information for easier overview by the Keeper.
● Improved movement speed during "Exploration", slightly speeding up the pace.
● Simplified interactions during "Exploration", removing event options when reaching the "Secret Passage Exit".
● Skipping the story will no longer skip in-battle story scenes.

III. Bug Fixes
● Fixed an issue where clicking the "Add Follower" button in the "Alumni" too quickly could result in an empty popup.
● Fixed an issue where the skill "Understanding All Things" of "Tawil" did not benefit from the "Giant's Blade" reduced arithmetica cost.
● Fixed an issue where the skill "Understanding All Things" of "Tawil" did not reduce arithmetica cost when using "Strike" with "Defiant Blade".

○ Keepers must complete Operation 2-9 to participate in "Battle the Primal."

● Operation: Finale
○ In "Battle the Primal," you defeat clones of various Primal gazes, but their true forms must be defeated in Operations 9-5 to 9-11. These special challenges have no achievements, stars, or "Omniscient Eye" relics, and no assistance, making them harder.

"The developer is absolutely INSANE."

This game had potential, but its future is ruined—by none other than its own creator.

After players criticized the developer’s constant pessimistic attitude about the game’s future in Chinese OFFICIAL GROUPS, the dev went on a rampage and kicked out hundreds of players in TEN groups. It didn’t matter who you were—hardcore strategists, top-paying veterans, talented fan creators, or early supporters who helped promote the game—everyone was thrown out. Then he claimed that he would not allow the players to establish their own discussion group unless he approved.

And just when you think it couldn't get worse, the developer recently announced plans to release a THAIS-THEMED SEX TOY (for male used) (yes, you read that right) in the official group. Naturally, anyone who opposed this decision was immediately kicked out as well.

This behavior speaks for itself. Do yourself a favor—stay far away from this game.

As someone who invested time, money, and enthusiasm into this game, it’s painful to watch the community and my fav characters be treated this way. A game lives or dies by its players, yet here the developer seems determined to alienate everyone.

Aside from being inspired mainly by Cthulhu Mythos, this game has its own story originality. Plus, the character arts are pretty unique in a way where imperfection are beauty as well. Combat is fun. Storytelling is decent but since story is translated by ChatGPT, many lines are a little stiff and weird. However, if you can get past that part, you would enjoy the game probably.

**Spoiler (Dont read past this part if you are not okay):**
Also, considering Silver is considered holy, it never crossed my mind that Silver in Cthulhu Mythos can be used as a force for good. However this game used Silver as a symbol for light, knowledge, and Resurrection. Yog-Sothoth is the only outer god linked to the Silver Key and Silver Gate. Although his name isn't explicitly stated in Morimens, you can get the gist of it if you know the Cthulhu Mythos. Since Yog-Sothoth is the "All in One and One for All", Tawil refers Yog-Sothoth with only capital pronoun just like in Christianity's respect to God. Quite a nice touch and combination.

This game got nice graphic and reasonable story, plus some characters are rather likable. But... Let be frank, people play this type of games for some sort of challenge away from usual card and board games, and want to test their skill and ability vs AI. This is why I don't recommend this particular game, at least not in current state as of December, 2024.

As non-native English speaker having absolute zero knowledge of Chinese writing, simple start of gaming is rather prolonged and far from pleasant experience. Getting this game on Steam, I checked 'English' as play language in launch options and immediately faced several problems. Most obvious one was that game would start in default Chinese, plus required you to press several boxes and log ins, maybe some legal consent, maybe not, but there is no way for non-speaker to know. When you press button after button on game screen, it's still same wall of text you have no way to navigate. On Steam community forum I found fix that would say "Press Cog icon and select second line from top", to finally find English as option. Well, thanks to nice person leaving this tip. Not like you expect much from ChatGPT translation, but at least you can navigate and play. And here is part I STRONGLY discourage people from playing this game.

In card games you want to know rules and use your probability knowledge to tip scales to your advantage. Well, lets just say that even interface was poorly explained and rules were completely omitted. After few fights I finally found how to check cards and what they do prior to using them, that only closest enemy will be affected if card doesn't say otherwise (and hitting someone in back row is completely foreign concept now-a-days, right?) and that the same card can have different values based on 'Affinity' or card holder who plays it. In such games I expect clearly defined rules with intricacies or at least basics somewhat explained in tutorial, but no luck this time.

When you get basics of combat, you'd like to adjust your deck to fit your style, I assume. Frankly, after playing for 5 hours no ways of thinning your deck or adding new cards in consistent matter were explained. Fine, I thought, will see it later. Maybe. Maybe it is even explained in later chapters but I simply couldn't force myself to play so far, to some part due to another problem. Your card holder advancement.

Affinities must level up and develop their skills since some mean level is recommended for particular investigation. But how is it done? Well, I'm sure there are people who know this system and can explain, but clicking on my first Affinity and using auto level up button leveled her up from level 1 to 10, and pop up box reprimanded me for too hasty approach, reminding me that skills are also important. Fine, go to skills to level just to find out that important resources are lacking. Well, I've got tons of currencies and could buy what I lack, right? No, it would be too easy. To buy A you need B and to buy B you need C, but since you lack C you can go to online purchase for real money and buy it for few bucks. Not a big deal, since this game is free to start with, right? Well, since I simply don't know what I'd get for these bucks (remember, it's never explained), number crunching game turns into wild gamble, when throwing dice on what to do next isn't the worst option. OK, lets just grind a bit and get some resources and upgrade what we need. Simple? No. Since deck development is never explained, it's counter intuitive. Relics not showing on your subsequent runs (or they are like potions and should work for one run only? Remember, it's not explained), difficulty to see if card mods stay for repeats of earlier runs, etc.

All in all, this is experience in frustration. It's like learning to play chess simply by moving pieces just to find out eventually how they all move but being taken by surprise to realize that goal of the game is not to eat all enemy pieces but to checkmate opponent's king, where even existence of such concept should be figured by yourself.

Final and relatively minor factor of annoyance is scaling of opponents. Investigation bosses are not smarter or got extreme and cool abilities, no, their HPs are simply bloated. Your have more or less 5 cards on your hand with rather mediocre damage, relatively rare more than single digits values. And while normal encounters were with mobs of couple of dozens HPs, boss can easily be in many hundreds. Enjoy challenge. Except there is none and you simply wonder if you can get that blob down or not thanks to atrocious RNG rolls.

You are welcome to try this game since it's completely free, but don't expect much. I'd rather pay a dozen of bucks or so for another game I can spend few evenings with on Friday and weekend.

I just started playing the game, however, I don't know which SSR characters are good for early game. If anyone know, please help. Though, the four free SR characters are good, but I need to know which (Standard or Limited) SSR characters should I considered pulling and waiting....
