A zealot's fever dreams crafted of clay and pain. Dear developer, you've both fascinated and disgusted me with this, and also left me with an itch to figure out what this stuff means.

Amazing artstyle and incredibly well researched, this game is a masterclass in atmosphere and mood. It's short but definitely worth the price.

For only $2.99, this game is excellent. Is it short, and is the ending maybe TOO open ended? Yeah. But what the game does offer is masterfully crafted and it is clear that a lot of passion went into making this.

The stop motion cutscenes are what set this game apart. Taking a page from old Tim Burton and using stop motion claymation on a black canvas hammers home the sense of isolation this game is trying to convey in a way that few others achieve. First time I have been able to call a game "creepy" in a while.

Deep down, I do hope that this is not the last we've seen of Daemonologie. It has the potential to be something so much more, both as a horror game and as a narrative-driven game. However, making video games is hard (which is why I've never done it), so if this ends up being all we get, then I am satisfied.
