I'm trying to get the invincibility achievement but even when i not die the counter for damage taken without dying resets. Does someone have a solution for this problem?

So I was going thru my old games for things i didn't play yet and I found this in my library. I tried to boot it up but the darn thing wont launch or just doesn't stay launched for more than half a frame so it makes only a difference in the fact of how it crashes or doesn't start.... so anyone know how to fix it? I just reinstalled windows so.......

What is the best stat distribution and is there a good spot for farming the best gear? I am planning on starting a hardcore playthrough and i want the best chances of staying alive for as long as possible
