The dragons in Ice Cave can be repeated if you only do 2 dragons then back out and it will reset. Two of those dragons give a little more XP than early Lesser Demon. The disadvantage is you can't run away with some characters so in that lesser demons is better if you want skyrocket one character. Though it's also nice to split EXP to everyone and it's in my opinion far less annoying than the hole monsters or waiting for Lesser Demon to summon more (a lot micromanage also)....
