This isn't a roguelike right?
I'm fine if this game can result in a softlock/game over due to insufficient resources, but I don't want to play a roguelike. This game is not meant to be played in "runs" right?

How do you duck?
There's a tip from Don on level 2 that says you should duck heavy blows rather than use your shield. How do you duck? I don't see anything listed in the keybinds menu.

lost my gun - game still possible?
Hello, unfortunalety somewhere I lost my gun. I recognized when beeing in 3rd floor. I never used this. Is this mandatory for the game or do I have penaltys without gun? Is there a way to insert it by cheat? or will there be another one in an upcoming floor? Thanks & Regards Stone...

beat level 1. quit game when entering level 2. started game again and was back in level one. it did NOT save even though it said like "reached checkpoint" a hundred times. there is no reason in this day and age for a save system that wastes players time.
