- Lumen is now enabled and is optional in the settings (We do not advise Lumen illuminations due to it increasing the amount of light.)

- Max FPS increased! Issue fixed where fps wouldn't go over 60

We are still working on photo mode but these new light and reflection settings will help improve visual quality for when it is released.

Demo feedback

Hi, I played the demo but haven't finished it. Here's some of the reasons why: Very bad graphical performance regardless of settings I have a RTX3050 with 16GB of RAM and the game refused to run at over 30FPS under any combination of graphical setting. I find this may be because the 3D assets used through the Unreal Store may be unoptimized. Visual glitches If you crouch and look up, you'll see your own head; going up some steps you can also have your third-person arms be tossed in the air. ...

- Fixed issue where game over cut scene triggered after defeating Yurei

- Fixed broke animation where hands would appear on screen

Please remember to use TAB to check current quest and keep hints/subtitles turned on for first play through.

Be aware the cups are NOT de-spawning, this is not a glitch and is intended, simply proceed with the bedroom task :)

March 2025 Patch notes

Thank you to everyone who has played the game and given feedback, we are listening!

This patch expands the prologue, fixes bugs and offers more guidance as we noticed players were struggling with one of the first puzzles. We want more players to finish the experience so here is a run down of what this patch brings.

- Updated village level design
- Bug fixes
- New way to save your game manually using device located in the office (removed most autosaves)
- More creepy encounters
- Added guidance
- Voice lines have been added for Tsuki
- Improved and updated localising

Things to note that will improve the experience:
- Start a new game and delete old saves (when too many saves it can trigger fatal error)
- Play in borderless window mode (this seems to remove the stutter as we work on solution)
- Update graphics drivers

What is on the way:
- Performance mode is in the works
- Photo mode is in the works (this will be a separate mode)
- More voice lines and Japanese VO
- The free survival horror DLC to anyone who owns early access

We are aware of some issues that we have mentioned and we are working on fixes so thank you for your patience and support!

VHS

Hi, I got to the where I got the VHS tape and got back to the recorder. But putting it in and playing seems to have no effect. Nothing is showing in the screen and the diary isn't updating. Is that normal?

Processing is too heavy

I understand that the graphics are elaborate, but the quirks are too heavy and the camera does not move smoothly. Anyway, there were too many bugs and I could not clear the game. I used the key card, but it didn't open anywhere. The cup I was supposed to wash is missing, and many other things I can't tell if they are psychic phenomena or bugs. I hope they will address this issue, because the game looks interesting if they can improve it....
