We always feel satisfaction and some sadness when we finish playing an amazing single player game, Pillars of Eternity made me feel more sad than usual tho. I just don't want the Grand Adventure to end! I didn't expect to get so attached to the protagonists considering the style of the game which is mostly little characters on the screen and small portraits. The character interactions/dialogues and voice acting is just brilliant!

I don't play many of these isometric RPG type of games so I'm clearly not that qualified in comparing it to similar games when it comes to the technical aspects. I played some diablo 2 back then tho and turned based games are my go to (this game has a blend of turn based combat) so It feels familiar, not hard to learn and can be quite fun.

My opinion about the storyline is neutral I guess... I mean, I like lores! but not a whole ♥♥♥ ton of lores! I've always enjoyed reading but it can get really tiring especially if the stuff is lacking in mystery/twists or a clear grand plot. I mean the stuff about the numerous Gods go on and on and on! and I did get a bit lost at some point following the story due to skipping ze reading of some of the stuff but what made me experience the Grand Adventure is not the main story anyways but the characters themselves. It's Like LOTR! A unique cast of characters with interesting backgrounds, ragtag group in a journey to do something that would change the course of history!

I had this game for quite a while and I just didn't get the urge to play it because I'm missing the DLC's, I always forget to get them on sale and I also don't want to start & finish games with missing content. Well anyways, I finally get around to gettin all content & playing it and I should say that waiting to get the DLC's is very rewarding! The content is massive and now I can't imagine playing it without the "White march" so please don't skip it or you will miss out on a lot including meeting the awesome Wengra AKA the cannon gal!
