Will there be a free Demo? I am interested in buying it but I would like to try out a demo first!

As someone with a master's degree in economics, there is not nearly enough games that focus on economics specifically. Hopefully this game will come to fruition.

It seems when I try to play the game on my Steam Deck and there is no internet connection, the game doesn't load. Can this game work (on the Steam Deck) without an internet connection?

I was wondering if there's an endless scenario and/or difficulty customization. If you make it to a certain date, will you get cut off with a game over? Do you have to follow a story/objectives? Very intrigued by this game, but just curious about longevity and replayability....
