The different regions are not well differentiated. I like that you've made it a bit more accessible for colorblind people by adding the different patterns, but they're all around the red-purple boundary, so it's easy to mistake one for the other, especially since it's possible to have a very small quarter of a square that isn't big enough to fit one of the moving ovals/dots.
