First, a big thanks to everyone who has played, and are continuing to play Lemonade Apocalypse. I am grateful that so many enjoyed the game. I have decided to make it into a bigger and longer experience with lots of new gameplay and possibilities while maintaining the core experience of Lemonade Apocalypse. Lemonade Apocalypse: The Great Filter on Steam

It's an homage to the Fermi Paradox. The Great Filter is a resolution to the Fermi Paradox, which states that since there is no observable extraterrestrial intelligent life, there might be something that always stops a civilization in its way—the Great Filter. In our case, each of the 27 endings of this game is a potential "filter," like global overheating.

I've teamed up with an illustrator and composer/sound designer to build the expression from the ground up. We have designed a concept and implemented new art, music, and sound design in the first stage. I have spent the better part of my free time the past months developing the gameplay, and I've conducted 2 user tests. Both have given me ideas on how to improve the game further. Right now I am implementing new ideas to the first stage and factory stage. And after that I will prepare the final stage for testing aswell.

Since the game has 27 different endings and gameplay combinations, Prestiging will be exciting to explore. Gain bonuses for each playthrough while checking out the different paths you can take.

Release date depends on quite a few factors, so I don't want to promise a release date just yet. But stick around for updates!
