Can't buy stuff although I'm playing the paid for full game, anyone else having this issue?

I can't figure out what the second digit is supposed to be. The first digit appears to be the "upright line" (I don't know what it's actually called). The second digit looks exactly like that one but is a little shorter. I don't know if it's supposed to be another "upright line" or a "1" or a lowercase i or a capital I.
