Overview:

If you don't mind having your towers getting removed to the point where you keep having to spend rebuilt them (sometimes from scratch), then you might like this game. To me, it's just not fun and is incredibly annoying instead.

Instead of reacting and adapting to the enemies, you'll find yourself hoarding coins to try to keep what you already had in the first place, so gone are the days of watching the gradual progression of your towers in different locations and adapting to enemy waves.

Summary:

This game stopped being fun when my towers kept getting deleted. Although I'm well aware that this type of mechanic is done in other tower defense games (which I don't mind), I absolutely hate it in this game.

On one of the maps I played, my tower got eaten, so I used my coins to get it back (which happens a lot on this map), only for my tower to get eaten again the second after it became active, so it felt like a complete waste of time killing enemies to even afford the tower to begin with.

Although I've been a longtime fan of this franchise, I can't see myself being a fan of this franchise any longer if the expectation is that I need to keep saving my coins to repurchase tower that keep getting removed over and again, or just outright permanently deleted.

This will likely be one of the few games that I've ever uninstall because of how irritating I find it due to the gameplay mechanics that weren't very prevalent earlier in the series.

They charge you for the entire game, and then ask for more money for dlc that's so tiny?

I've loved this game series for 10+ years, sad to see you fall so low.

kingdom Rush 5 Alliance is a great game, Ironhide studios made a gem with these tower defense strategy games. I love all of them. This one is by far the best although vengeance does give it a run for its money. I really am Not happy with having to pay for a DLC when I paid full price for this game. The price tag was hard enough having to cough up but because I am such a fan I bought it. But charging for the DLC is what gets me and why Ironhide is losing fans, and I am one of them. This is coming from the guy that bought all kingdom rush games on phone, Ipad, and PC. I have had enough with this price gouging, and it started a long time ago but Kingdom Rush vengeance is what really started the annoyance that turned into anger. I am no longer spending money on the game, enough is enough.
