This game is visually beautiful and made me feel like I was playing an interactive comic, playing through the story of a woman named Lilly. There are "multiple endings" though I didn't feel compelled to get them because the gameplay is linear except for a single choice made at the end. Overall, not bad if you're looking for a relaxing hour-long walking-sim-esque game.

"Dad is missing!" I don't care?
"Oh no! My dog!" I don't care?
"My boat! It's been ransacked!" I don't care...?

Because a game like this is all about narrative storytelling and relatively simple puzzles, you might think that giving the player some initial exposition about who you are, who the father is, and what your tie to this all would be good idea, right?

The game simply puts you in the shoes of a character you have no emotional attachment to and then instantly pulls the "My Daaad!" card on you. There is no buildup, no concern; it simply happens, and they expect you to care.

I've seen this visual graphic style utilized before, and it has a beautiful effect for walking simulators when it can genuinely draw you in with world building and character bonding, but that is where it felt out of order. Consider a particularly tragic book or movie you've read or watched, and then muddle up the entire experience. The finale comes first, and then near the end they explain who the characters are and why you should care, but you already know what occurred, which was awful and had no effect on you because you could have cared less who John Doe was, because it was presented poorly.

I'm not trying to spoil anything, but for this game, I believe it would have been much better to begin where she was a child, build up the story from her birth, and help the player become attached from the start, rather than through memories 1 hour in after the events to help build the bond, character, and attachments.

I couldn't care less about the plot because it didn't seem fascinating. There is nothing to be attached to, except for the dog because it is a dog and he is cute.

The story of the game on the other hand was a real let down for me in the end.
