This is a small update that packs a mighty punch in the form of customization options, bug fixes and quality of life improvements!
This patch includes the following changes:

- Introducing the first batch of Clawsmetics (and there's more where that came from!)
options include:

• Cowboy hat
  
• Flower
  
• Party hat
  
• Cow bell
  
• Pig tails
  
• Moustache
  
• Googly eyes
  
• Toilet
  
• Plunger
  
• Prop hat

Quality of Life Improvements:

- Quitting the game from the pause menu now presents additional options Main Menu / Close App
- Players have the option to begin an instant rematch at the end of the current game with all the same settings
- Visual clarity improvements to the Player Select and GamePlay UI / Signposting

Big Fixes:
- Minor clipping issues on the Player Select and Gameplay arenas
- Collectables occasionally getting caught on the borders of the arena
- Collisions sometimes knocking players out of bounds

I'm very excited to announce that BattleClaws is returning to Dublin Comic Con for the Summer Edition happening in August!

We'll be bringing the latest version of the game with us, and we'll have tons of stickers, and even a few steam keys to give away, so don't be afraid to stop by and play a few rounds against your friends.



BattleClaws will be released into Early Access in just a few days, and we have new features and major content updates still to come. The game may look verrrry different by the time you see us at Comic Con!

Good News, Everyone!

BattleClaws will release into Early Access on July 31st, and we couldn't be more excited!

It feels surreal to be so close to our initial release and as a team we're insanely grateful for your support up to this point. Seeing your engagement with our humble demo at the events we've attended and watching you getting competitive over those final scores has been a highlight for sure!
Your insights and feedback are going to be instrumental in shaping the future of this project, and we've got a ton of new features and updates planned.

Hi everyone!

We're delighted to announce that the BattleClaws development team will be attending the Irish Gaming Market, taking place July 13th and 14th!

You can find us in the Indie Zone where you'll be able to chat to our game devs, play a few rounds of the BattleClaws demo and pick up some goodies.
We're also going to be making an appearance on the IGM mainstage each day from 12.00 - 12.30pm where we will be hosting live BattleClaws tournaments and giving away a free copy of BattleClaws to the victors!

So many of you have added BattleClaws to your steam wishlist and we are so dedicated to bringing you the best experience possible!

Before that though...we are coming to GamerFest Dublin next week with the BattleClaws demo!
GamerFest[gamerfest.ie] is Ireland’s biggest gaming and esports festival, taking place in the RDS, Dublin. May 25th and May 26th, 2024.

There'll be tons of games available to play, and we'll be in the Indie Dev space both days! Feel free to come and say hello, play a few rounds of BattleClaws with your friends and maybe nab a couple of stickers!

Hi everyone!

This weekend has been so exciting and firstly we want to say a massive thank you! to everyone who stopped to say hello and play the latest BattleClaws demo at Dublin Comic Con.
BattleClaws had upwards of 600 players across Saturday and Sunday and we are delighted we got to meet you all!

I wanted to take the opportunity to answer some burning questions we received over the weekend:
1. What platforms will BattleClaws be released on?
BattleClaws will be released on steam for PC with controller support. We are considering additional
platforms for future releases, but more on that later!

2. Will there be other game modes?
Yes! We brought Battle Mode to Comic Con, a mode where 2-4 players battle it out until the last claw
standing is declared the winner, but we intend for a single player mode, and even some co-operative
play to feature in future releases.
