I am closing in to 100 hours in Elite Dangerous with HOTAS, of which I probably only TWO I played in VR. Not saying Elite is not fun in VR but playing on the screen is easier for longer sessions (less tiring) and also shorter session (when you are lazy to put on the VR headset and start the whole thing) so that is probably why I ended up playing all the time on screen. Is there a tip on how to destroy the freighters quickly? It seriously doesn't seem to matter what kind of combination between weapons and perks I have the 3 destroyers + cruiser/freighter NEVER do a damn dent. I set my heavy ships (yes, they have the hull-destroying missiles with long range) to target the heavy freighters while I take care of the non-shielded freighters. I destroy both with guns only to turn around and see that the heavy freighter i set them to target was at 100% hull and 70% shield. I ke...
