I've added STEAM leaderboards to the game now so your highscore posts to the leaderboard if any of the following conditions are true:

1. You die
2. You pause / exit
3. you finish a level

While you're playing the game i've also added a rank system which displays your global rank for your high score and also your current game score. This also displays player 2s rank if you are playing co-operative local multiplayer.

The game is shaping up quite nicely now and i intend to add much more content if there is enough support from the shmup community.
