cute but not worth the price

The game has it's charm of course, but the premise really falls flat to me.
Within the time I played, I noticed a lot of flaws which I'll name below

-firstly it sets up this core feel of urgency of trying to get your family out of a drought, into a new town. However, there's no real timer to feel that it's urgent. Like let's say by 30 days you need to get all of them in or they die (as sad as it sounds) or just game over. this makes stratragy and priortizing more about the core game. and adding layers on it
-secondly the camera is a fixed camera constantly looking downward. I had to use the actual camera in game just to look around to see where i was going
-the map and inventory should be seperate seeing how it's a small map and inventory can become confusing to new players especially with no real guidance telling you what is where.
-moving things in general in the house is the biggest pain I ever had to go through. it's cute yes to let the bunny pick it up but it's so finicky and glitchy and wacky physics that placing them down takes multiple attempts which is annoying within itself
-baking....might as well not be in this game if I can be honest. just as a hobby maybe. I gained 3k carrots in just 3 runs in the cave by getting items and mushrooms to give away then I ever could with baking. Baking feels literally half baked. And only one stove with only 2 placements at a time that can take till the next day? No....that's not how a bakery really runs....
-trying to also figure out each bunnies love for what flavor can be a pain since it should be automatically written in your notes not you doing it yourself because you can add duplicates causing confusion.
-the bunnies are easy to forget whose who at times, if your bunny can wear a hat I'd suggest to this dev to make all bunnies unique looking so that way they're more recongizable
-when trying to find Rowen it didn't even tell you where he was even, you'd just have the NPC's talk ABOUT him but because the camera angle is always at a downward view, and his house is more on the hill it's easy to miss especially since it doesnt even look like a door unless you go up there. since he gives you one of the things you need.
-Honestly I can go through this whole game without baking and probably get the ending in 3 days time.
-it also needs better optimization seeing how it does glitch at times for a game that looks simplistic to where I had to restart the game since my mouse wouldn't go any further to the right to select a recipe for whatever reason.
-the caves i don't get them I saw a chest right there and the butterfly sent me back saying it was too far into the cave even though items in the cave are right there meaning there was no invisible wall, but the dev making a soft block so that way you can't go further.
-I don't get the forest either, there's nothing really in there I saw besides easter eggs literally and fire flies to collect that don't even add to much of anything. and it feels completely empty. there's no wild life or anything. and if It were me I'd add wolves and such or foxes so that way after 6pm if you're still there, it adds tension and more excitement to the game. not horror wise, just a be careful stealth wise.


honestly if it were me making this game.
Firstly I'd make the 30 day limit since there are days in the game that go by. Making for urgency and stratragy for people. Letting you also buy more stoves. So let's say it took 7k carrots to get your whole family in or 10k, but you need more ovens. so you need to priortize since you can't just make bread either. cause bunnies would leave their own review of what they like, so you'd have to take a day out to go splunking. (and even adding the walls to where you can't go further instead of just randomly sent back even though if you click on the butterfly it fast travels you out anyway making it pointless of why it says it had to send you back). so you have to get berries, salt, mushrooms maybe some chests but that's a time out of the day for you. I'd also make days a bit longer, seeing how days just feel too fast in there. Especially since you have to sleep waiting on the food to be done. When I'd make the food be done within 30-1 hour game time so that way you can push out more food making baking more apart of the game as it's supposed to.
even adding danger in the forest part. as stated. Also I wouldn't make the "sell box" i'd make actual shelves outside the bakery for the bunnies to line up and buy what they wanted at times of the day seeing how they do seem to be on a path every day going to their same spots. etc. The only time they eat is for FREE just to see their favorite flavor only to know you just wasted your damn time, because they're like eh it's okay but I like something so and so that's spicy or sweet but not specific. here I'd change that when eating the product leaving their review that will be manually put in your journal so you can keep tabs and track of what bunny likes what so you have to bake different things for them.
Not only that, just because you got your family in, now is the time you can relax a little and upgrade the town and people's lives with side quests and getting what they want.

I'm almost inclined to get my money back seeing how, even the concept art looks a bit like AI where it's not really what it seemed to be. it's cute of course, and I don't HATE it but it needs more to it and more then just what it probably is, to me this all feels like an asset flip that they took from a store and bought everything and including animations and boom made the game. And again nothing in general is wrong with that, but when you don't even put all the effort in when you're hyping it on X saying you're making a cute baking bunny game when I can right now end the game without even baking...that's a huge problem.

No i don't recommend this game, it is not worth almost 30$ and I wouldn't even say it's worth the 20$.
It's a shame cause it HAS potential. but until I see actual progress made in this game and f it's been out since 2024 then I hate to say that the dev just moved on.
So no, Stardew valley is what I'd suggest if you're looking for a game to play with better quality I guess as i keep hearing at least. I just liked it because i do like bunnies and it is cute, but after awhile...it's....boring.

This game is so cute! Learning new recipes and figuring out the other bunnies' likes and dislikes feels very rewarding. While the gameplay is pretty simple, there's enough going on to keep you busy (and I definitely haven't unlocked everything yet). The characters are sweet with enough personality to make talking to them worthwhile. As for the graphics, I'm thankful to the developers for giving us an option to lessen the fog, and the style has a sort of retro low-poly feel that I found rather charming.
