Game crash before starting a battle - Play on ThinkPad X1

Hi everyone! After installing DW8 on Steam, I start the game normally. However, the game crashes everytime starting a battle. I try this game on my Thinkpad X1 - windows 11/ DirectX 12. Does anyone encounter this issue like me? Thanks.

OPINIONS AHEAD! I am relatively new to the Musou genre. My journey started with WO3U and I've yet to scratch the itch. The PS2 era was a fun and more grounded, but I wanted more. OPPW4 was wild, but lacked meaningful growth and variety for me. SW5 has near perfect combat and beautiful sty;e, but lacks character variety. This game has everything I have been looking for. Massive battles, countless unique weapon classes, great character variety and I really like the progression system. Can't wait to dump countless hours.
