Is this getting Steam achievements?

Unfortunately the notes for the practice and jam minigame aren't popping up for me. Is this supposed to be like this, do I have to configure any settings? I'm already at the point where I've unlocked the next 2 songs but they also don't spawn any notes.

Hi! I was checking out the demo and I'm trying to work out if this game officially has a female protagonist or if it's just meant to be gender-ambiguous for self-insert reasons. It's a little hard to tell because characters refer to the PC as 'kid' most of the time as far as I saw. Asking for curation purposes basically....

The fps is really low on the game for me. The animations are choppy, and there are hiccups where the games slows to a crawl or speeds up unexpectedly. Is anyone experiencing the same issues? I love the game and would love the smooth play experience I had when playing the demo....

The music and art style really can't be beat.
