Frustrated, but amused and engrossed with the original title, I got this sequel while on Xmas sale. Certainly shorter in story and in length. Seemingly more cinematic cut scenes of story than of user interaction. Some history involved, but more so of sensitivity and human aspects. A severe anti-war and somewhat woke approach to the War to END all Wars. HA.
And as I mentioned in my review of original Valiant Hearts... I HATE the missions with ANNA, as it has only to do with clicking the correct keys, in the correct sequence, in a set time frame. I slam my table constantly, and
must cease play for awhile to not break it. Bandage, pick, clean UGGH! Boring, tedious, and foolish waste of time. I do enjoy the ART form, and characters, but the maps are too simple but functional.
Get it if you enjoyed the first title, but wait for a big sale!

Meh. Aggravating tedious puzzles compared to the first game. Boring characters with little relevance or relatability. Still some interesting history here and there.
