I've been playing naval simulations (board and computer) for the past 30 years, and short of World of Warships, I've rarely seen one this bad. I went into combat with three 15" gunned battlecruisers against two pocket battleships. I scored at least 25 large caliber hits on each vessel, yet their main batteries were never knocked out. I believe they only stopped firing when their ammunition was depleted. Historically, Graf Spee fought against 2 CLs and a CA and the damage incurred led her captain to scuttle her. The UI is incredibly clunky, the graphics are rough, but most importantly, the underlying game engine appears to be seriously flawed. There's no point in playing a simulation of the Battle of the Atlantic that is as biased as this is. It was probably done for play balance, and to cover for a weak AI, but it simply does not work. I cannot recommend, even at $7.49.
