Today’s the day! Release Version 1.1 is here, bringing you the Abandoned Submarine Map and so much more, thanks to your feedback! We’ve listened to as many of your suggestions as possible, and we’re confident that version 1.1 offers a smoother and more refined experience compared to 1.0.10.

Many players faced technical issues that prevented them from fully enjoying the game—most of these errors should now be fully GONE!

The Abandoned Submarine is similar in size to the School map but brings fresh gameplay elements and challenges. You might need a new strategy to navigate it—it's up to you to figure that out!

All that being said, let's say the next planned map will be the exact opposite in size! However, we can't make any estimations for the release of another map yet, since it takes a while to get things working :)

Panicore Release Version 1.1 (from October 25th 2024)

Additions:

• Added Voice Chat settings making you hear your own voice so you can set up things more precisely

A huge thank you for all your support! You've helped us improve the game by reporting bugs, suggesting features, and testing the public beta. Thanks to you, we've fixed issues that impacted many players.

Patch 1.1 is on a good way and we would like to announce something that might interest you:

We don't want to keep you waiting, so we have decided to include ALL changes INCLUDING the new map to public beta version 1.1

What's missing? Why public beta?
Missing content is: translations, achievement implementations and some lore elements.
The main reason for the delay of the patch is a bug that sometimes causes disconnections after losing a game for some reason - it is slowly getting better and we are sure we can find the issue and fix the problem even better with more players playing the beta version of 1.1!

We have been working on quite a big patch to get rid of the problems Panicore has and we would like to invite you to check out the current public beta version 1.0.11! It comes with a lot of changes, especially players having voice chat issues should check this one out. If you want some more action, also check out PAINCORE+, featuring 2 monsters on one map!

To switch to the beta select "beta - Testing new stuff" in Properties->Beta.

Why a beta phase?
We are preparing for the release of the new map! A lot has been changed on the technical level of Panicore to make the game more stable and this public beta will decide if Panicore is ready for the new map around next week or if it still needs some time to get ready!

To be more transparent with you about all this: We are trying to become better game developers, still learning how to handle future updates for our games. Deciding what to prioritize and include in a patch, estimating the release of patches, testing them thorougly and releasing them, all these are things we want to do CORRECTLY. Panicore is our second title, but our first to have such a big recognition. We were almost unknown before Panicore's release so this is very exciting and a lot of work at the same time.

After around 2 additional days of testing for 1.0.10 we are now sure that the update is ready for you guys! Meanwhile we have also fixed some more bugs for this version! The AI should feel much more enjoyable and we are sure this is the most stable version we have right now!

IF THIS CAUSES MANY PROBLEMS AGAIN LET US KNOW IMMEDIATELY!

We wanted to apologize for today's occurence and let you know we've been working on the patch we wanted you to play!

However, to avoid the mass crashes happening again, we would like to invite you to play the PUBLIC BETA version which includes version 1.0.10's additions and fixes.

The AI feels MUCH better which is why we really want to update the game with this one!

Menu additions:

• Hosts can now disable and re-enable proximity voice chat in any map from the session settings menu, this can fix a lot of issues
  
• Added a RESET VOICE CHAT button to the voice chat menu that should re-initialize the full voice chat system in the worst case - best to use AFTER everyone is connected!
